This project was to excavate over 700 tons along the side of the A40 at Hanger lane gyratory in west London to create a flood relief area to solve a flooding problem for the neighbouring allotments and also to create a wetland nature area, the area was excavated and the spoil transported across fields to the boundary line of the allotments and then tipped and mounded to create a natural barrier, we carried out this project in winter but although it was cold and the ground was frozen we still managed to complete in four days as agreed with the client
